Stacey B. Rice
Ms. Rice is an experienced family law, criminal and civil trial attorney who has tried hundreds of cases in her career. Ms. Rice spent four years working as an Assistant State’s Attorney at the Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office. While with the State’s Attorney’s Office, Ms. Rice successfully prosecuted many criminal matters including felony burglaries, assaults, drunk driving, and drug possession cases. Ms. Rice worked the last six years zealously advocating for her clients in the areas of family law, criminal defense, juvenile cases, administrative hearings and general civil litigation while a Partner at a local Annapolis firm. Ms. Rice now brings her vast experience and superior advocacy skills to Brassel, Alexander & Rice as a Partner. In 2009, Ms. Rice’s peers voted her a “Leading Lawyer” for criminal law litigation, and 2010 - 2012 a "Leading Lawyer" for the practice area of family law, in What’s Up Annapolis magazine. Ms. Rice has been recognized for her work in family law as one of Maryland’s “Super Lawyer's" in 2012 and 2013.
Ms. Rice graduated from Rollins College (B.A. 1994). She graduated Cum Laude from the University Of Baltimore School Of Law (J.D. 2000). Ms. Rice worked as a Law Clerk for The Honorable Clayton Greene, Jr. in Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County from 2000 – 2001. Ms. Rice has been an Adjunct Professor at Anne Arundel Community College, in the Paralegal Studies Program from 2005 to Present.
Ms. Rice is admitted to the Maryland State Bar, United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Ms. Rice is a member of the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, a Character Committee Review Board member, and The Court of Appeals Board of Trustees.
